Coach Gregg Popovich from San Antonio Spurs releases a statement

It has been a whirlwind six weeks for my family and me, and I never expected the amount of support we have received. As we navigate through my recovery journey, I just want to express my deepest gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love and encouragement we have received. While I may not be able to personally thank each and every one of you at this time, please know that your kindness has touched our hearts in ways we cannot put into words. We are eternally grateful for the incredible support from our community, the Spurs organization, and our loved ones. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

No one is more excited to see me return to the bench than the talented individuals who have been leading my rehabilitation process. They’ve quickly learned that I’m less than coachable.
